Casa Esperanza Homeless Center (Shelter)

Community Kitchen of Santa Barbara

Volunteer-based food program for the homeless and poor. Evening meals are served from December 1st to March15th. Using donated food from local markets, bakeries and the FoodBank, volunteers from churches and the community offer hot nutritious meals. Volunteers offer a welcoming environment and strive to build a sense of dignity in the guests. There are no religious requirements and the only requirement is that guests are respectful of each other. Provides information on public health and mental health services.
