Our Vision

 Collaborative practice

Californians for Patient Care (CPC) works to collaborate with all the stakeholders in the healthcare system (community groups, patients, healthcare providers, research institutions and policy makers) to understand the barriers in delivering patient-centered care. CPC strives to meet and work together with these stakeholders to find the “common threads” that help benefit patients. In the development of our programs and as we carry out our mission, CPC deliberates with many stakeholders, accepting guidance, evaluation and alliances to meet the needs of patients.

Balance and Respect

CPC’s approach to better healthcare access is to understand and negotiate with others respectfully. We believe that regardless of political affiliation, social or economic standing, all human beings deserve to be treated with respect. It is our understanding that there is a balance in life. Our ultimate goal is to objectively understand the issues and work with others to improve our healthcare system. Ultimately, we will strive to focus on ways to contribute positively to the solution(s).

Consulting with Experts

Throughout the process of collaborative practice and understanding, CPC continues to consult with industry experts and research institutions in realizing the core healthcare issues of our state and identifying trends, barriers and areas of improvement where Californians for Patient Care can be instrumental in being part of the solution.
