Anissa Routon is the communications director at Californians for Patient Care. She provides strategic oversight of the organization’s internal and external communications initiatives, including message development, media outreach and management, consumer education, Web site content development and social media.

Ms. Routon specializes in executive, legislative, litigation and regulatory messaging and brings more than 16 years of integrated communications and public relations experience to Californians for Patient Care. She has held various senior positions with UC Davis Health System and the American Lung Association in California, as well as the California Bankers Association (CBA), where she served as the banking industry’s spokesperson in California for nearly seven years. Prior to her tenure at CBA, Routon led the public relations efforts for Arthur Andersen LLP in Chicago, and was the manager of corporate communications for credit reporting giant Experian.
